Southern Style Cabbage
Southern Style Cabbage is an easy dinner. Made with 4 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces, 1 small head cabbage, coarsely diced, 1 small onion, finely chopped, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In 5-quart Dutch oven or 12-inch skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until browned.
Add cabbage, onion and salt.
Stir to coat cabbage evenly with bacon drippings.
Add water and reduce heat.
Cover and cook 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender and lightly browned.
