Cut corn off the cob; scrape well to remove corn milk.

Place cut corn in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.

Add needed amount of water, sugar, butter and cornmeal; stir well.

Cover with plastic wrap or glass lid.

Microwave at High 2 minutes.

Stir well; rotate dish 1/2 turn.

Microwave at High 3 to 5 minutes; stir well.

Let stand, covered, 2 to 3 minutes before serving.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
