Sourdough Bread
Sourdough Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 slightly rounded c. sourdough starter, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. salt and 1/4 c. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Place sourdough starter in large bowl.
Sift in baking powder, soda and salt.
Add vegetable oil and mix well.
Flour board with 1/2 cup flour and put remaining flour into sifter.
Gradually add flour from sifter, and blend after each addition.
When mixture begins to hold together well, grease hands and turn mixture out onto board.
As you add remaining flour, knead it in a rhythmic fashion.
