Souped up Bread
Souped Up Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 1 large loaf french or italian bread, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 1/2 c. velveeta or other shredded cheese, 1 c. chopped onions (optional) and 1 c. chopped meat (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Slice bread vertically but not completely to the bottom of loaf.
Place bread on enough foil to cover.
Pour soup over top of bread.
Layer onions and cheese over top of soup.
Cover and seal seams in foil.
You may want to bake bread on baking sheet.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 1 hour.
Cool slightly and serve.
