Sonara Salsa
Sonara Salsa is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (14 oz.) can whole tomatoes, 1 large, fresh anaheim chile (fire roasted), 2 oz. can diced chilies, 1/2 onion, chopped and 3 to 6 sprigs cilantro, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Fire roast the chile by placing it directly in the flame of gas burner or laying it on a electric burner.
Rotate slowly until skin is darkened and blistered.
Place on cutting board and scrape skin off.
Skin should slide off easily.
If not, place back in fire.
Remove seeds and chop coarsely.
Place tomatoes, chilies, onions and seasonings in blender for 30 seconds.
Add cilantro and pulse for 5 seconds.
Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill. Enjoy!
