Blend sugar and Crisco.
Add eggs, milk, cream of tartar, baking soda, vanilla and flour.
Grease and flour cookie sheet. Drop 1 teaspoon at a time.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Don't bake too long! Makes about 6 dozen.
