Soft Sugar Cookies
Soft Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. oleo, 1/2 c. crisco, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream oleo, Crisco and sugar; add eggs and mix.
Add buttermilk.
Add vanilla, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Stir in flour until mixed well.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Drop mixture by using a tablespoon on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 13 minutes. Makes 3 to 4 dozen cookies.
May ice with lemon frosting.
