Soft Raisin Cookie
Soft Raisin Cookie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. raisins, 1 c. water, 1 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Boil raisins in water until water is almost gone.
Cool. Cream together shortening, sugar, vanilla and eggs.
Add to raisins.
Sift flour and soda together and add to cookie dough. Drop onto cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes at 400Β°.
Makes 5 dozen.
