Soft Date Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg dates cut up, 2 tsp soda, 2 c. sugar, 2 tbsp butter and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream sugar and butter.
Then add eggs, vanilla, salt and flour.
Then the cooled dates, 1/2 c nuts may be added.
The batter will be soft.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375Β° 12 to 15 minutes.
