Snowy Mashed Potatoes
Snowy Mashed Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 to 10 potatoes (russet), 1 c. sour cream, 1/2 c. celery, diced, 1 tbsp. parsley, minced and 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Peel, quarter and cook potatoes.
Drain and return pan to low heat, shaking to dry potatoes.
In large bowl of electric mixer, cream together softened cream cheese and sour cream.
Add hot potatoes one at a time to cream mixture and continue beating at high speed until light and fluffy.
On low speed, add green onions, celery, green pepper, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic powder and melted butter.
Spoon into 2 1/2 to 3-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake in 375Β° oven for 25 minutes or until heated through and top is golden.
