Snow Biscuits
Snow Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 1 1/2 tsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 pkg. dry yeast and 3/4 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sift together flour, sugar and salt.
Dissolve yeast in warm water, adding to dry ingredients with melted shortening.
Should be a real soft dough; add a little more flour if you want to. Don't knead.
Flatten to about 1/2-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
Place on lightly greased pan.
Let rise for 1 hour and then bake in a 425Β° oven until light brown.
