Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 2/3 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking soda and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Blend shortening, sugar and eggs.
Sift flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt into the first mixture.
Mix well, then shape into small walnut size balls.
Roll balls in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 400Β°.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.
