Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1/2 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 2 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix the first 4 ingredients together.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Chill dough 2 to 3 hours.
Roll in ball size of walnut, or use melon scoop to form.
Roll in cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet at 400Β°.
If too cool, cookies will spread too far.
