Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. margarine, 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. crisco, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 egg and 1 1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cream margarine and Crisco.
Add sugar and egg.
Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt, then stir into mixture. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
Roll into a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake until lightly browned, but still soft.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen 2-inch cookies.
