Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (part butter or margarine), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. gold medal flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Heat oven to 400Β°.
Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Measure flour by sifting.
Blend flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; stir in.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls.
Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
