Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. sifted flour and 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt and combine with first mixture.
Form into walnut-size balls and roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Place on ungreased baking sheet approximately 2-inches apart and bake in 400Β° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
