Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. soft shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix sugar and cinnamon.
Soften margarine or shortening.
Mix in sugar, soda, salt, cream of tartar, eggs adding flour a little at a time.
Roll into ball (teaspoon) and roll in the cinnamon, sugar mixture.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400Β° for about 10 minutes.
Don't overbake.
Makes 5 dozen.
