Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, softened, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 2 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven to 400Β°.
Mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda, nuts and salt.
Shape dough by rounded teaspoonful into balls.
Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Roll ball in mixture.
Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes approximately 6 dozen.
