Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (butter or margarine), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. plain flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt and stir in.
Roll dough in 1-inch balls and roll in mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. They will puff up a lot at first, then flatten out.
Makes about 6 dozen.
