Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 tsp. cream of tartar, 1/4 tsp. salt and 2 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 400Β°.
In mixing bowl, cream the butter and 1 1/2 cups of sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Shape dough into balls using rounded teaspoonful of dough for each.
Combine 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon; coat balls.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are set, about 14 minutes.
