Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 2 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Heat oven to 400Β°.
Mix thoroughly the butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and the eggs.
Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon.
Roll balls in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
Immediately remove from baking sheet. Yields about 6 dozen cookies.
