Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/4 c. flour and 1 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream together shortening and sugar.
Add egg.
Blend in flour, tartar, soda and salt.
Chill dough 2 hours.
Roll into small balls.
Roll balls into a sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 minutes or until they are light brown.
Makes about 2 dozen.
