Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. sifted gold medal flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Thoroughly shortening, sugar
Sift together and stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at
400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned but still soft.
(These puff up at first and then flatten out.) Makes 5 dozen cookies.
