Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar (white), 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix together shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs.
Sift and stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Roll into 1-inch balls.
Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
Put 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
