Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 3/4 c. sifted flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Mix together thoroughly shortening, eggs and sugar.
Sift together and stir in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Chill dough.
Roll into walnut size balls.
Roll these in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake until lightly brown but still soft.
Bake in 375Β° oven for 10 minutes.
The cookies puff up at first but flatten out with crinkly tops.
Makes 2 dozen (2-inch) cookies.
