Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (butter or margarine), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Heat oven to 400Β°. Mix together shortening, sugar and eggs.
Mix together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Blend the two mixtures together.
Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts.
Prepare a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon and roll each ball into the mixture.
Place the balls 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
