Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. crisco, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.
Mix well.
Sift flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Stir into mixture.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake until light brown at 375Β° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
These cookies puff up, then flatten out.
