Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 stick butter or oleo, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 2 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix thoroughly the shortening, butter, sugar and eggs.
Add dry ingredients and stir in.
Roll dough into balls the size of small walnuts.
Roll in a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon and place 2-inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned, but still soft.
These puff up at first, then flatten out.
Yields about 5 dozen.
