Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 c. margarine, softened, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 2 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Heat oven to 400Β°.
Mix shortening, margarine, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, 1 teaspoon soda and salt.
Shape dough by rounded teaspoons into balls.
Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon; roll balls in mixture.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
Immediately remove from baking sheet. Makes about 6 dozen.
