Mix shortening until creamy; add sugar and eggs.
Mix well. Mix flour, cream of tartar and salt together.
Add flour mixture to sugar mixture; mix well.
Make 1-inch balls out of all dough. Roll in cinnamon sugar and bake at 350Β° for approximately 5 to 8 minutes.
