Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cream of tartar, 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 3/4 c. plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix all ingredients well, except the cinnamon and sugar.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Roll balls into mixture.
Bake 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet until lightly brown, but soft.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
