Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 egg, slightly beaten, 1 1/3 c. sifted flour and 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream together shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and continue to beat until light and fluffy.
Add dry ingredients; mix well.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll balls in a mixture of 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly browned.
