Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 eggs and 2 3/4 c. all-purpose or unbleached flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat oven to 400°.
In large bowl, combine sugar, margarine, vanilla and eggs.
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; blend well.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Combine 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.
Roll ball into sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
