Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. plain flour, 2 tsp. cream of tartar, 1 tsp. soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 3/4 c. sugar (separated), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Set aside.
In a large bowl with electric mixer, beat shortening until fluffy.
Gradually beat in 1 1/2 cups sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
