Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. margarine, softened, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 eggs and 2 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven to 400°.
In large bowl, beat 1 1/2 cups sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and eggs; blend well.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; mix well.
In small bowl, combine the 2 tablespoons each of sugar and cinnamon.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes, or until set immediately.
Remove from cookie sheets.
Makes 4 dozen.
