Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (crisco), 1 1/2 c. white sugar, 2 eggs, 2 1/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy the shortening, sugar and eggs.
Sift together dry ingredients and stir in.
Chill dough at least 1 hour, then roll into 1-inch balls.
Roll in cinnamon sugar mixture; bake on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 5 to 8 minutes at 400Β°.
Do not overbake.
Tops are soft.
