Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsp. cream of tartar and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix first three.
Sift together dry ingredients and stir in. Chill dough.
Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
Place about 2-inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in a 400Β° oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen (2-inch) cookies.
