Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (crisco), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Blend flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Shape dough in 1-inch balls.
Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
