Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine or butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Heat oven to 400Β°.
Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Measure flour by dipping method.
Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Stir in.
Shape dough in 1-inch balls. Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cookies puff up at first, then flatten out.
