Smothered Chicken
Smothered Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 6 slices bacon, 1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream, 2 cans cream of mushroom soup and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Wrap 1 slice of bacon around each chicken breast.
Place in a casserole or baking dish and sprinkle with salt, pepper and dill weed.
Mix soup with 1/2 can of water or milk, then add sour cream.
Pour over chicken and sprinkle with salt and pepper and a little more dill weed, if desired.
Bake at 325Β° until tender. Serve with noodles or rice.
