Smothered Cabbage
Smothered Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 5 heads cabbage, cleaned, 1 to 2 large onions, 2 to 3 pkg. beef short ribs, salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder meat to taste.
Heat oil in a large pot.
Brown short ribs and add onions.
Put clean cabbage leaves on top.
Continue until all cabbage is cooked. Stir to bring meat up and cabbage on bottom.
Watch to make sure there is at least half a pot of water.
Stir now and then.
Cook until leaves are tender.
Serve over cooked rice.
