Slush Punch
Slush Punch is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 lg. pkg. strawberry jell-o, or flavor of your choice, 6 c. boiling water, 2 lg. cans pineapple juice and 2- 2- liter sprite or ginger ale, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix together sugar, Jell-O and water, stir until dissolved, and add pineapple juice.
Pour into containers and freeze for at least 24 hr.
(Plastic milk jugs work well).
Take out of freezer at least 1 hr. before using.
Empty container into a large punch bowl; break mixture into chunks with a wooden spoon.
Add sprite or ginger ale; mix to a slushy consistency.
Makes a wonderful punch. Can add crushed pineapple or frozen strawberries when pouring in the pineapple juice.
