Slow Poke Cake
Slow Poke Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. german chocolate cake mix, 14 oz. bag caramel candy, 3/4 c. butter, 1/2 c. evaporated milk and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix cake according to directions of package.
Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased & floured 9x13 in. pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
In a sauce pan, melt caramel with butter & milk. Pour over the baked 1/2 and top with chocolate chips & pecans. Pour balance of cake batter over chocolate chips & pecans.
Bake until done, approximately 15-20 minutes.
Cool & serve.
