Slow Ball Dip
Slow Ball Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large round loaf bread, 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 3 cans chopped clams (reserve 1/4 c. liquid), 2 tbsp. grated onion and 2 tbsp. beer, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cut a round circle in the bread and hollow out. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the clams, clam juice, onion, beer, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, red hot sauce, salt and pepper until well blended.
With 2 sheets of aluminum foil large enough to cover loaf, fill loaf with cream cheese mixture and seal tightly with foil.
Bake at 350Β° for 3 hours.
