Skillet Cookies
Skillet Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. pkg. dates, 1/2 stick oleo, 1 egg, well beaten, 1 c. sugar and 1 c. pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Place first four ingredients in skillet and cook until dates have dissolved, letting it boil a little and stirring constantly. Remove from stove.
Add 1 cup pecans, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal.
(Add more cereal if needed.)
Roll in balls, then in fine coconut.
Makes delicious candy-like cookies.
