Skillet Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. oleo, 1 c. sugar, pinch of salt, 1 c. chopped dates and 1 c. chopped english walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt oleo in heavy skillet; add rest of ingredients, except Rice Krispies and coconut.
Stir constantly over medium heat until thick.
Remove from heat and cool.
Add Rice Krispies; make into small balls and roll in coconut.
