Skillet Cabbage
Skillet Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head green cabbage, 1 large bell pepper, 4 small tomatoes or 1 can tomatoes, drained, salt and pepper to taste (optional) and 1 large onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Chop vegetables coarsely.
Heat large skillet or wok to medium-high setting, using bacon drippings or two teaspoons of vegetable oil.
Pour all vegetables into skillet or wok and cover. Cook 8 to 10 minutes only to heat vegetables and remove from heat while slightly crisp.
May top with crisp crumbled bacon.
