Sixty Minute Rolls
Sixty Minute Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/4 c. lukewarm water, 1 1/4 c. milk, 4 tbsp. shortening and 3 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Set aside.
Heat milk, shortening, sugar and salt until lukewarm.
Add to yeast mixture. Stir in flour.
Cover and set in a warm place for 15 minutes or until doubled in bulk.
Turn out on floured board and pat until 1-inch thick.
Cut with biscuit cutter or make in small rolls. Place in pan.
Allow to rise until doubled in bulk.
Bake at 450Β° until brown.
