Mix first 9 ingredients.
Dissolve 2 teaspoons coffee in 1 cup boiling water.
Add to bowl and beat for 2 minutes.
Pour batter into 3 (8-inch) greased and floured round cake pans and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pans and cool completely.
