Six Layer Dip
Six Layer Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans, 1 c. grated cheddar cheese, 1 c. sour cream, 1 1/2 c. shredded lettuce and 1 medium tomato, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Spread the refried beans in the bottom of a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with cheese; cover.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 25 minutes.
Continue baking until cheese melts.
Remove from oven.
Spread sour cream over beans.
Top with lettuce, tomato and onions.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
Makes about 3 1/2 cups dip.
